Description
Wildlife
The trees are mostly quite young, with oak and silver birch dominating the canopy, but there are also some fine mature trees of oak, ash and sweet chestnut. The shrub layer consists of elder, hawthorn and old coppiced hazel. The ground flora is dominated by bracken, ivy and bramble, and also contains wood anemone, a speciesusually associated with ancient woodland.Facilities
