This is a sizeable area of ancient woodland, owned and managed by Haringey Council. It was awarded a Green Flag award in 2020 and is a Capital Woodlands project site. This site is well used by the public and includes nature trails.

Description
Wildlife
The canopy is dominated by hornbeam, with some oak, birch and sycamore. In the shrub layer can be found hawthorn, holly and rowan, as well as Midland hawthorn and wild service-tree. The traditional management technique of coppicing was revived in the 1990s after years of neglect which has had massive benefits for wildlife. The ground flora includes the London rarity pale sedge, as well as trailing St John's-wort and lady-fern, both of which are uncommon in London. It is a Capital Woodlands project site.Facilities
