Wildlife
The trees are mostly towards the edges of the site, and include some fine large London planes and common limes. There is a dense stand of blackthorn scrub on the northern edge, and extensive shrubberies around much of the perimeter. These provide nest sites and food for a good range of common birds. Also on the northern edge is a sunny bank, covered in rough grassland and tall herbs, which is likely to support a good diversity of invertebrates.Facilities
