Description

A narrow section of the Duke of Northumberland’s River, flowing through the Woodlands housing estate. A footpath and hedge provide access alongside the river.

Wildlife

The water in the river is of good quality. It supports aquatic vegetation including fennel pondweed and water-crowfoot, which are scarce in London.
