Description

Jersey Gardens is an attractive ornamental garden with a good range of common birds.

Wildlife

The mature trees and shrubberies of this formal park provide good habitat for common birds. The most interesting feature of the park is the sunken rock garden known as the Dell. This was laid out in a former gravel pit in the mid-1930s. It is now partially wooded, and the shady rockery provides good habitat for invertebrates and other animals. Further wildlife enhancements are planned.
