Situated just on the edge of Heathrow Airport, this is a sizeable area of scrub with rough grassland and scattered trees. Paths have been cut through the scrub in places to allow access. The site is bounded on three sides by hedges.

Wildlife
The mainly hawthorn scrub supports a good range of birds throughout the year. The resident finches, tits and thrushes are supplemented in summer by warblers, including chiffchaff, willow warbler and blackcap. In winter, flocks of redwings and fieldfares can be seen feeding on the hawthorn berries.Facilities
