Description

Clockhouse Gardens is a peaceful ornamental garden in the middle of Upminster. The site boasts planted specimen trees and a medieval moat.

Wildlife

The medieval moat has an island covered in sycamore woodland. A selection of wetland plants grows around the margins, including water figwort, gypsywort and purple loosestrife. The moat attracts swans and a variety of wildfowl.
