Description

This site is a wooded section which forms part of Grim’s Dyke Ancient Monument, on the edge of a sheltered and tranquil recreation ground.

Wildlife

The wildlife interest is largely in the wooded bank on its northern edge. Field maple a low canopy, with a dense shrub layer of elder and blackthorn. Pendulous sedge and green alkanet can be found in the ground flora.
