Description

Thornhill Square was built in the 1850s, being designed around St Andrew’s Church at the northern end. It is one of the largest squares in Islington borough and possesses many densely planted shrubberies and mature trees.

Wildlife

The trees here are mainly planes and horse-chestnuts, which form closed canopies in places.
