Description

An area of wetland between Durnsford Recreation Ground and the embankment of the Earlsfield to Wimbledon railway line.

Wildlife

In the 1990s the existing wetland next to the railway was extended into Durnsford Recreation Ground itself, with the development of a pond surrounded by a small area of wet woodland. This brings wetland animals and plants into the public park.
