Description

This narrow park, weaving between housing, lies in an area deficient in accessible wildlife sites. Priory Park won a Green Flag Award again for 20089.

Wildlife

There are plenty of trees and shrubs, including an area of woodland planted in the 1980s at the northern end of the park. Numerous other areas of young trees and dense shrubberies provide good habitat for common birds.An area of damp grassland, with reeds and rushes, is managed for nature conservation.
