This small park in the north of Southwark borough, close to Guy’s Hospital and London Bridge station, is situated in a built-up area lacking accessible wildlife sites. It is very popular with local residents and office workers at lunchtime. There is a children’s playground and a café.

Wildlife
The older gardens are mostly formal, with some mature trees, but the new Community Park is informally landscaped, with many young trees and shrubs forming a patch of woodland in one corner. Some of the grassy areas were sown with wildflower mixes, but these are now kept short. A small wildflower area with planted fruit trees has been created by the Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST).Facilities
