A former sports pitch that has been managed to increase its wildlife value.

Wildlife

Part of the site has been scraped and seeded to create a wildflower grassland and ephemeral pond/wet area. The remainder has been subject to an annual hay cut. There has been an improvement in the sward structure and composition and it is under specific management by the council to increase the abundance and diversity of wildflowers.
