This small but well-designed park to the west of Shepherd’s Bush was developed in the 1970s from a World War II bomb site, in an area which was otherwise lacking in significant public green space. The site also has a playground.

Description
Wildlife
The park has a fair number of trees, including some native oaks, although most of these are still relatively young. A dense belt of shrubbery around two sides of the park creates a sense of seclusion within. This offers excellent cover for birds, as well as a good source of berries from the hawthorn and firethorn, which are the predominant species. Blackbirds, robins and wrens nest here and blue tits visit the site.Facilities
